"All Saints' seeks to be energised by God and to share His liberating love in the community"
At All Saints' we practise the inclusive Gospel of Jesus Christ. He never turned anyone away - neither will we!
That means that ALL may come here:
Tax collectors; adulterers; hypocrites; Greeks; Jews; woman as well as men; children and old people; female and male priests; homosexuals; lesbians; the disabled; the dying; thieves and other sinners. White people; black people; aliens and people from other races. Muslims; Bishops; bigots; people of other faiths and none; strangers from other countries. Heretics, etc., etc
All Saints' is the Church of England Parish Church for most of the area covered by the New Haw and Woodham Wards of the Runnymede District Council. The Parish is part of the Runnymede Deanery within the Diocese of Guildford.
All Saints', New Haw has been so called since it was erected in 1874 as a school room and a mission church. Thus, is has been known by that name at the centre of our village community for 134 years. It was re-dedicated in 1911, following its closure as a school and a consequent refurbishment that included the addition of the chancel and a change of roof (from tin to tile).
Although the church building is small, (it was originally the village school for New Haw), there is a lively and energetic congregation, many of whom are engaged in various aspects of community life. At All Saints', we seek to have a range of groups and activities to appeal to those of different ages, outlooks and interests.
Our principal service on Sunday morning is the ten o'clock Parish Communion which incorporates a mix of traditional and modern hymns and music.
